UKTV has commissioned a second series of You, Me & Them, Gold’s sitcom Eve Myles (Torchwood), Anthony Head (Merlin) and Lindsay Duncan (Doctor Who).

The comedy series launched on Gold last October and tells the story of Ed (Head) and Lauren (Myles), a couple who are madly in love, despite their 20 plus-year age gap. However, Lauren’s family and everyone around them seems to have an opinion on the subject and, to complicate matters further, Ed’s ex-wife Lydia (Duncan) lives next-door.

Series 2 will air on Gold in 2015.

Steve North, General Manager of Gold, commented: “The first series of You, Me & Them was funny, engaging and a perfect fit for Gold’s audience, and we’re looking forward to even more laughs in this second series. We’re thrilled the charming Anthony Head and talented Eve Myles are back, and we’re in talks with high profile talent for cameo roles.”
