Debuting on Channel 4 last year was Loaded, a sitcom that followed a quartet of friends who suddenly became millionaires after enjoying success with a gamin app they’d come up with.
Jim Howick was one of the four, and he’s been chatting to Digital Spy recently. And he confirmed that a second series of the show is looking very unlikely.
“I don’t think there will be, not on Channel 4. I think that already came out, you’re re-opening old wounds. It was a massive show and maybe that’s why. It was eight hours and it was unusual for Channel 4 to commission an eight-hour comedy show”.
He did add that he’d be happy to return to the show if another broadcaster picked the show up, but it seems the chances of that happening are slim. Certainly no broadcaster has thus far stepped in.
If anything changes, we’ll let you know…
