Marvel’s Runaways and Cloak & Dagger, both of which are TV shows that air on the American streaming service Hulu, are set for a big crossover episode. Here’s everything you need to know…

The Cloak & Dagger/Runaways crossover will occur during Runaways season 3, which is set to premiere on Hulu on 13 December.

Jeph Loeb, the big boss of Marvel TV, said this: “It’s so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we’ve only hinted at.”

Live-action superhero crossovers are nothing new, of course, with Marvel already having delivered Avengers team-ups on the big screen and the Defenders crossover series on Netflix. The crossing over of these two teen-centric shows is still a cause for excitement, though.

After all, DC has cornered the market in TV crossovers in recent years, with the Defenders experiment for Marvel appearing to by a one-off, while the DC Arrowverse crossovers have become an annual event on The CW.
