Jason Bateman will return as Marty Byrd for another ten episodes of money laundering family fun.

Although Netflix keeps its ratings close to its chest, Ozark is widely believed to be a major hit for the streaming service. A season 3 renewal should have come as no surprise, then, but it was welcome news.

Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams created Ozark, with the show’s first season dropping on Netflix on July 21st 2017. The second season followed on August 31st 2018. Season 3 has been a long time coming, but we finally know when it’ll arrive, thanks to an official announcement from Netflix.

Jason Bateman and Laura Linney return in season 3 along with the rest of the core cast. Julia Garner’s Ruth, a young member of a local crime family, had a particularly strong arc in season 2. We look forward to seeing where she goes next.
