To the delight of fans attending Capital Sci Fi Con in Edinburgh Scotland, Doctor Who actor Peter Capaldi played and sang David Bowie’s Starman on guitar.
The thrilled fans sang the chorus with him. A fan captured his performance and shared it in two tweets.

The Doctor Who actor has long been a fan of David Bowie and once expressed a desire for the singer to guest star in Doctor Who and even derived inspiration from Bowie for his twelfth Doctor costume.
Sadly, David Bowie passed away in 2016, a few months before Capaldi began filming his last series of Doctor Who.
Peter Capaldi’s impromptu performance was a lovely tribute from one star man to another.
