From Heyday Television and Harry Potter producer David Heyman (who is in an executive producer role this time) comes a new spy thriller that’s just been ordered to series by the BBC.
The Capture has come from the mind of Cyberbully’s Ben Chanan, and it’ll start with the arrest of an innocent man. From there, a conspiracy will begin to reveal itself, involving doctored evidence and very bad things. Surveillance culture will be very much part of the drama.
Chanan is writing and directing The Capture, and six hour-long episodes have been ordered. They’ll be heading to BBC One, with NBC Universal International handling distribution outside the UK.
No casting has been announced so far for the show. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…
