Netflix has unleashed a trailer for The Last Kingdom season 3, and you can watch it right here. The Anglo-Saxon drama’s latest season will air exclusively on the Netflix streaming service, debuting on November 19th 2018.

“In season three, as Alfred’s health weakens — and with it his dream of a united England — Uhtred must take command and confront a new threat, Danish warlord Sigrid.”

Fans of The Last Kingdom will be pleased to hear that the third season of the drama will have ten episodes, which is two more than the usual eight.

The show is now produced and broadcast exclusively by Netflix. It originated at BBC Two, with Netflix joining as a partner on the second season, but Netflix stepped up to order a third season when the Beeb passed on it.
