The third series of Trollied begins at 9pm on Thursday 22 August, followed by the first full series of Chickens at 9.30pm.

Starring Simon Bird and Joe Thomas from The Inbetweeners and and their long-term collaborator Jonny Sweet (Playhouse Presents), the pilot episode of Chickens aired on Channel 4 in September 2011. It’s 1914, the Great War rages, millions of men have shipped off to join the fight, yet in the sleepy English village of Rittle-on-Sea, three young chaps, Cecil (Bird), George (Thomas) and Bert (Sweet), have stayed behind.

Series 3 of supermarket sitcom Trollied sees Gavin and Julie expecting a mad rush for barbecues and beers on the hottest day of the year. What they get instead is a surprise visit from head office, including the new head of strategy, Richard France (The Spa‘s Chris Geere).
