UKTV’s Alibi channel has set the UK premiere date for Waco, confirming that the based-on-real-life cult drama starring Taylor Kitsch will air in the UK in July. Here’s everything you need to know…
The show was created by The Paramount Network in the US, based on the real-life events that took place in Waco, Texas in 1993. David Koresh, who led a cult that stockpiled weapons and got into a standoff with the government, is played by Taylor Kitsch.
The show’s UK premiere will take place on Monday 1st July at 9pm on Alibi.
The show was written by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, and its very impressive cast also includes Michael Shannon, Melissa Benoist, Andrea Riseborough, John Leguizamo, Julie Garner, Rory Culkin, Paul Sparks, Shea Whigham and Camryn Manheim.
