We’re expecting a full trailer for upcoming sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters over the weekend, but for now Warner Bros have decided to tease us with a brief look at the film.
The clip shows Millie Bobby Brown’s character trying to make contact through some ancient-looking technology, saying “I’m trying to reach Monarch” before her efforts are drowned out by a mysterious noise.
‘Reach Monarch’ is the main crux of the viral marketing campaign that has been unveiled alongside the video – the company bills itself as “discovery and defense in a time of monsters”.
In a tweet posted from the company’s account, it says: “Monarch’s primary mission is to ensure the survival of humanity in the shadow of the ancient monsters threatening our world. And we need YOUR help.”
