Following the suspension of filming on House Of Cards season 6, the future of the show’s final run was under severe threat. This was following the strong allegations that were levelled against the show’s star, Kevin Spacey, who has not been on the House Of Cards set since.
There had been talk a week or two back that Netflix had opted to continue with the final run of the show, with a possible early December resumption of filming date. Now, though, the streaming service has confirmed that season six will indeed be resuming production, but not until next year.
Furthermore, it’s also been confirmed that the episode count for the show’s final run has been reduced. It’s coming down to eight episodes in all.
The final season is set to premiere, without Kevin Spacey, late in 2018.
