The BBC has scored a ratings success with its Strike series, based on the novels by J K Rowling/Robert Galbraith. Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger have headlined the two Strike stories we’ve had thus far, and the Beeb has confirmed that there’s more in store.
Thing is, we’re going to have to wait for them. The Career Of Evil, the third adaptation of Rowling’s Strike novels, has already been earmarked by the BBC. The new episodes, though, won’t be on our screens until some time next year, with filming yet to begin.
J K Rowling will be back as executive producer, and will thus stay close to the show. More news on filming as we get it.
