The Mad Med star leads the show, which also features Amanda Peet and Olivia Munn.

For many, Jon Hamm will eternally be Don Draper, the flawed anti-hero of Mad Men. The show’s devotees saw him progress through seven seasons, and the whole of the 1960s, as the lead character of the Madison Avenue advertising drama.

Since the peerless drama finished in 2015, he’s starred in various movies including Baby Driver and Top Gun: Maverick. That’s in addition to television roles in Black Mirror, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Good Omens.

Now he takes the lead in Apple TV+’s upcoming Your Friends and Neighbors. The show, from creator Jonathan Tropper (Banshee), is executive produced by Hamm and already renewed for a second series. Once again he takes the role of the flawed protagonist, albeit this time in the present day…

Here’s the premise of Your Friends and Neighbors:

After being fired in disgrace, Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager still grappling with his recent divorce, resorts to stealing from his neighbours’ homes in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village, only to discover that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.

The show also stars Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt and Donovan Colan.

Jonathan Tropper is the showrunner and executive producer. Exec producer Craig Gillespie (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) directs the first two, with Tropper, Stephanie Laing and Greg Yaitanes also direciing. The show comes from Apple Studios and Tropper Ink.

Season 1 of Your Friends and Neighbors begins at Apple TV+ with two episodes on Friday, 11th April 2o25. Weekly episodes then follow until Friday, 30th May.
