Plans for the end of the series have been revised.
Since September, there’s been uncertainty surrounding the final season of Good Omens with production paused in the wake of sexual assault allegations made against Neil Gaiman.
Now, Prime Video have confirmed (via Variety) that the show is coming back to finish its story.

We were expecting a season based on ideas that Gaiman and the late Sir Terry Pratchett discussed as a potential sequel. Instead, the show will conclude with a single 90-minute finale.
Good Omens stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen as the Demon Crowley and the Angel Aziraphale, who find themselves working together to avert the apocalypse.
Production on the Good Omens finale expected to resume in early 2025 in Scotland. Gaiman is apparently no longer involved in the show and not listed as an executive producer. Neither is his company The Blank Corporation, although he had previously contributed to the finale’s writing. Gaiman wrote both previous seasons, with John Finnemore joining as a co-writer on season 2.
The show’s executive producers are now Rob Wilkins of Narrativia, representing Terry Pratchett’s estate, and BBC Studios Productions’ Josh Cole. The show comes from Amazon MGM Studios, BBC Studios Productions and Narrativia.
We’ll keep you posted on the Good Omens finale.
