Updated 05/11/24: Channel 4 give us a first taste of the show.
With the show landing this Friday, we have a first look at the mayhem coming with Junior Taskmaster. Rose Matefeo takes on the responsibilities of the big chair, with Mike Wozniak taking on the assistant role… if the children can remember his name!
With some very colourful contestants, it looks as though the junior version will be giving the parent show a run for its money.
The series runs for eight weeks, beginning at 8pm on Friday 8th November.

Junior Taskmaster – start date announced
A long time in the works, with the spin-off first announced in March 2023, we now have a start date for Junior Taskmaster.
The series begins on Friday 8th November at 8pm on Channel 4, with the contestant line-up comprising 25 children between the ages of nine to eleven year olds.
Greg Davies and Alex Horne make way for a new presenting team: the Junior Taskmaster is comedian Rose Matafeo, with Mike Wozniak as her assistant. Both have form with show, starring in series 9 and 11 of the main show, respectively.
Junior Taskmaster
Despite the shift to non-celebrity pre-teens, Junior Taskmaster promises all the bizarre chaos we’ve come to expect. There’s a new Taskmaster house, with a shed, a caravan and a laboratory.
Plus, zebras, a sandcastle pedestal and, of course, a revolving top hat spinning wheel!
The series plays out across five heats, which lead to two semi-finals before a Grand Final. At its conclusion, the victot will take the title of Champion, as well as a golden trophy of the Junior Taskmaster’s head.
The show begins its eight-part run on 8th November and wraps up on 27th December.
We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, the whole Taskmaster back catalogue is available to stream on All 4.
