Wentworth Miller has announced that he will not be returning as Captain Cold aka Leonard Snart after a final appearance on Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash.
The actor broke the news via an Instagram post.
While this is upsetting for Snart fans, the show has a surprise around the corner that could numb the pain a little: John Noble is joining the cast as season three’s big bad Mallus.
“That’s the big mythology of the season and what makes Mallus cool at this stage of everyone’s viewing experience is that right now he is just a name and is this whisper,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW. “You’ll learn more about him in [episode] 305.”
