Marvel has confirmed — Loki will return
As was made clear in the end credit sequence for the final episode of season 1 (For All Time, Always) Loki will return. Talking to Marvel.com, Tom Hiddleston said:
“I am so grateful that we got to do Season 1, I still am not quite able to process that we get to have another go at this. I am so excited by the possibilities. We are already in discussions. Deep, deep, deep discussions. I can’t wait to get started.”
As you will know if you’ve seen it (if not we won’t spoil, but gently remind you to watch after reading this article), season 1 ended with rather a cliffhanger. Hiddleston has also said:
“I want to say thank you to the audience because without the audience, we wouldn’t be able to make a Season 2. I hope Season 1 was full of surprises. And I think Season 2 will be full of even more.”
We’ve enjoyed Loki season 1, which built nicely, had some interesting angles on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and gave us some great moments for the eponymous ‘hero’. If season 2 is merely as good, it should be a success.
You can read the Marvel press release for mention of jet-skis and some spoilers. We’ll keep you up to date with the Loki return as we get more news.
