The pair are joined in Malice by Game of Thrones‘ star Carice Van Houten.
News has landed, via Variety, of a new psychological thriller series being made for Amazon’s Prime Video.
While plot details are scant, we understand that Malice follows a young man, played by Jack Whitehall, who attempts to infiltrate the world of a wealthy family.
Two genre favourites lead that family; former star of The X-Files David Duchovny and Carice Van Houten, Game of Thrones‘ Melisandre. There’s a power couple if ever we saw one!
Malice comes from writer and executive producer James Wood (The Great, Rev). The series will be a co-production between Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films for Prime Video.
Jack Whitehall
Whitehall is primarily known in the UK for his stand-up comedy and travel shows. Plus, there’s the comic television roles, in shows such as Fresh Meat and Bad Education.
He has also enjoyed roles in Good Omens, Decline and Fall, and in the second series of The Afterparty.
He has a burgeoning film career too, appearing in Disney’s Jungle Cruise, Robots, and the forthcoming Todd Haynes rom com Silent Retreat.
We’ll keep you posted on Malice.
