The first look images have been released for BBC’s new whimsical murder-mystery series, here’s everything we know so far:
The upcoming drama series has been dropping clues in the lead-up to its release, including first look images. Based on the novel by Anthony Horowitz, Murble Hall Murders is the final installation of the Susan Ryeland Mysteries, closing the book after stories from books such as Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders.
What’s it about?
Susan Ryeland is an editor with a habit of getting herself involved in unexpected business. After she’s hired to work a novel which would continue the Atticus Pünd series, which was originally penned by a young author facing his own demons. During her time working on the project, Susan finds herself at the heart of another murder. There’s a complication with this particular case, however, as Susan herself is looked at as a suspect too. This runs parallel to the story within the Atticus Pünd novel, in which he becomes entangled in the murder of Lady Margaret Chalfont when on a visit to Corfu, he works alongside a Greek detective in order to crack the case and absolve suspicion. Perhaps there’s some clues within one reality which could help solve the very real mystery in the other…
