The king of the clicker returns for more Modern Life Is Goodish after a seven year gap.
It’s been seven years since Dave Gorman hung up his trusty clicker. Modern Life Is Goodish, a comedy show delivered via PowerPoint to a live audience, explored life’s glorious absurdities and inconsistencies, with an accent on the world of the internet.
Armed with a computer, clicker and checked shirt, the show combined stand-up, visual storytelling, and real-world experimentation. However, he drew the work intensive show to a close after five series.
Now, armed with his clicker and wearing a trademark checked shirt, Gorman is back. The freshly rebranded U&Dave channel have announced 4 new hour-long specials for 2024.
Dave Gorman said:
“I’m delighted to be getting back in the Goodish saddle. It’s been 7 years since I hung up my Modern Life Is Goodish clicker and in that time, life has definitely got 7 years moderner – so there should be plenty to get my teeth into.”
Let’s hope we can look forward to some more brilliant “found poems” drawn from the comments sections of the web.
Dave Gorman Modern Life is Goodish is produced by Avalon. The four specials will air on U&Dave and stream on U later this year.
