Netflix’s Breaking Bad film was a smash hit…
AMC and Netflix’s Breaking Bad sequel, El Camino, arrived earlier this month with a bang. The streaming service has revealed that the film, which followed Aaron Paul’s drug-dealing Jesse Pinkman after the events of the Breaking Bad series finale, reeled in 25,734,392 households in its first seven days of release.

The movie picks up after the violent events in Albuquerque, centring on the fallout from the massacre that took place in the last episode of the series back in 2013. Paul has been coy about whether we’ll see Jesse Pinkman again now that the sequel is out there, as he’s unsure of what the future holds:
“I thought I said goodbye to this guy so many years ago,” he said. “It’s up to Vince [Gilligan]. You know, Vince and I definitely plan on working together many times in the future and if it’s Breaking Bad-related then great, if not then so be it. If he wants to dive deep into this again then I’m all for it.”
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie was written and directed by Gilligan, and debuted on Netflix UK on 11th October.
