Actor Peter Capaldi showed his support for The National Brain Appeal’s Emergency Care Fund by recording himself reading a chapter from author and screenwriter Frank Cottrell Boyce’s book The Runaway Robot.

Capaldi starred in two Doctor Who stories written by Cottrell Boyce, In the Forest of the Night and Smile.

Set up in response to the Covid-19 crisis, The National Brain Appeal’s Emergency Care Fund raises money for staff on the frontline at The National Hospital – and those patients who are most in need at this time. You can donate here.
