Netflix has revealed the trailer for Snowpiercer season 2 and it promises the keep up the action and intrigue. Plus there’s added Sean Bean!

First we had the Snowpiercer film; not long after this was followed by Snowpiercer season 1. If you don’t know the idea, it’s a post apocalyptic drama set onboard a train. Not just any old train, but one gigantic train circling the globe forever seven years after the world has frozen over. Some 3,000 survivors are onboard, as the train keeps on moving and growing its own food.

On board life reflects the worst of the class system; 1,001 carriages ranging from first class luxury near the engine to a group of stowaways at the back. It was the brainchild of one Mr Wilford, who is in the second season and played by Sean Bean (picured above). He wants his train back!

The first season focussed on Melanie Cavill (played by Jenifer Connelly) the Head of Hospitality, and rebel (living in the tail of the train) Andre Layton (played by Daveed Diggs) and there’s an uneasy relationship as Cavill needs Layton to investigate many murders. What else is there to do at the end of the world on a train to nowhere?!
