A new channel is heading to your electronic programming guide of choice early next month, with the news that Sony is set to launch a dedicated Crime Channel in the UK.
It’ll be a free to air channel, albeit created as a result of the merging of Sony Channel and the True Crime Channel. You can sort of see where they came up with the name ‘Sony Crime Channel’.
Amongst the shows that will appear on the service are Orange Is The New Black, Line Of Duty and Person Of Interest. The company is expecting the new channel to pull in a “predominantly” female audience.
It goes live on February 6th.
