The new series of New Tricks will begin later this month.

The crime drama’s 10-part eleventh series starts at 9pm on Monday 18 August on BBC One.

Episode 1 sees Gerry Standing’s youngest daughter getting married to a solicitor, while newly divorced Sasha Miller is forced to work with her ex-husband, DAC Ned Hancock and Gerry is visited by an old friend from the past.

EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite was introduced as DCI Sasha Miller at the end of Series 10, joining Nicholas Lyndhurst, Denis Lawson and Dennis Waterman as the team of retired ex-coppers reinvestigating the Met’s unsolved crimes.

Guest stars in Series 11 will include Phil Davis, Nicola Stephenson, Sophie Thompson, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Claire Goose, David Hayman, Niamh Cusack, Louis Emerick, Amy Nutall and Tom Georgeson.
