You’ll find no spoilers here, but in the wake of the finale, star Brian Cox has posted a heartfelt tribute via Instagram, saying:

“We have now come to the end. And what has been, in my career, certainly the greatest work experience ever. The harmony between crew and cast was truly amazing. It was on it’s way to become a great series but the Love and commitment from crew to cast and writers, made it memorable. I would like to thank all of us in the making and creating of this show from the very bottom of my heart. Yours ever Brian Cox.”

Meanwhile, the show’s broadcaster HBO has dropped a featurette on that final episode. Naturally, it is spoiler heavy as creator Jesse Armstrong discusses the show’s conclusion. He also talks about the show’s family feel and protecting its integrity and knowing when to stop.

There is also a contribution from director Mark Mylod on the essentially tragic nature of the show, Plus, that disgusting smoothie scene!
