It’s probably fair to call Fire And Fury the publishing phenomenon of the year thus far, with Michael Wolff’s look at Donald Trump’s first year as American President selling lots of copies, and thoroughly annoying Trump himself. Wolff may very well consider that mission accomplished.
But there’s more to come. Endeavor Content has now picked up the film and television rights for the book, and it’s got its eye on a television series. It’s already recruited Michael Jackson (not that one) to produce.
The likelihood is that it’ll try and get the show off the ground as quickly as it can, although it’ll be interesting to see just what opposition the project comes up against. At the very least, we don’t expect Donald to be too happy…
