Netflix will drop the final run of The Crown in two parts.

The highly anticipated final season of Netflix’s royal drama The Crown is imminent, and the streamer has confirmed release dates.

As with their other high-profile shows, like The Witcher and Stranger Things, The Crown Season 6 arrives in two parts. The first batch lands on 16th November, with the series’ conclusion arriving on 14th December.

While the late Queen Elizabeth II in her current incarnation is played by Imelda Staunton, the date announcement teaser also features the previous two actors to play the role, Claire Foy and Olivia Colman.

Season 6 of the show begins with the death of Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki), and we can expect time jumps as it makes its way to the romance between Prince William (Ed McVey) and Kate Middleton (Meg Bellamy).

Alongside Imelda Staunton, the returning cast includes Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Jonathan Pryce as Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair, Salim Daw as Mohamed al-Fayed, and Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed
