The Flash is not known for skimping on its guest stars, but the latest one is a doozy. Battlestar Galactica‘s Katee Sackhoff is set to appear in the show’s upcoming episode, and co-showrunner Andrew Kreisberg has been teasing what’s to come.
“Katee is so amazing in the show,” he told TVLine. “The performance that she has brought to the character is so beyond anything you’d expect from her… She is most definitely not playing Starbuck.
On what we can expect from the episode at large, Kreisberg continued: “I think it’s the first episode we’ve ever done where Barry doesn’t wear the suit. We started with the concept of, ‘Wouldn’t it be really funny if Barry goes for the bachelor party with the guys and Candice goes for a bachelorette party with the girls, and the guys end up having the worst night ever and the girls wind up saving the city?’ That was where we started from, and that’s where it ended up.”
Those fans missing a certain Mr Wally West can breath a sigh of relief, with Kreisberg confirming that the character has not left the series forever: “Wally is not gone,” he told EW. “Wally is not gone, certainly, from the Arrowverse, and he’ll be back on Flash, and more exciting stuff about Wally will be revealed as we move forward.”
Speaking of moving forward, here’s a 9-second teaser for the upcoming Crisis on Earth-X crossover extravaganza.
The Flash airs on Sky1 in the UK.
