The first treats of the Christmas television season have been and gone, with the triumphant trilogy of 20th anniversary The League Of Gentlemen specials on BBC Two. Off the back of that, The League have announced a nationwide arena tour for next year.
But in terms of television? That might just be your lot. Producer Adam Tandy sent out a Tweet as the final show aired, certainly suggesting that more television episodes were unlikely.
Here are his Tweets…
All aboard for the final #leagueofgentlemen. This is very much the end of the line. @BBCTwo 10pm. pic.twitter.com/yJMyHSQ3DX

If it is the end, then it’s left on a high. And there’s the small matter of that tour too.
The League Of Gentlemen specials are on iPlayer now. And as you can gleam from Tandy’s Tweets, we’ve got the return of Inside No 9 in early 2018 too…
