How’s this for a bargain? Those of us of a certain age will have had the chance to enjoy the first run of the superb The Mysterious Cities Of Gold on UK TV. It ran on a weekly basis on BBC One, in the children’s TV slot. And even beyond the iconic theme tune, it was some piece of work. The story of Esteban and his search for the Cities Of Gold kept us rapt for 39 episodes.

It took some time, but eventually, the series made it to DVD, in a fairly expensive set. But now, we see that Amazon Video allows you to buy the entire series – every single episode! – for £3.99 in digital form. It’s an utterly stunning bargain, and one we commend to you. If you’ve never had the pleasure, then this series is a flat-out treat.
