The upcoming BBC psychological thriller series has released plenty of juicy info about The Rapture, so here’s the latest info we have:

The recent news around the brand new series has given a lot for thriller fans to delight over, from a trailer to first look images. There’s a lot to learn about the show that wants you on the edge of your seat.

What’s The Rapture about?

Based on the bestseller penned by author Liz Jensen, the story takes place in the peak of a heatwave (very relatable so far), but the heat hasn’t stopped protesters finding their way to the streets despite the blistering temperatures. A brand new forensic psychologist mets a new teenage patient, who lives in a high security psychiatric hospital. Convicted of murdering her mother, our protagonist’s patient insists on her innocence, with no other adults in her life after being estranged from her religious leader of a father. The teenager claims to have psychic powers, but what has led her to believe this? And is there any truth to any of her claims?
