The UK broadcaster adds another season of Daryl Dixon’s further adventures this September.
As The Walking Dead universe continues to expand, Sky is endeavouring to keep pace and be the UK home of the franchise.
Last month they announced the pickup of spinoffs The Ones Who Live and Dead City, as well as the first season of Daryl Dixon.
With that available as a box set in August, Sky has now also confirmed it will show the second season, Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol, in sync with the US. The new 6-part run will air exclusively on Sky Max and NOW this September.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol
The first season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon followed Dixon’s departure from The Commonwealth as he washes ashore in France, raising the ire of a splinted but growing autocratic movement centered in Paris, and endangering a young boy at the heart of a benevolent religious movement.
Season two picks up following fan-favourite characters Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest. Additionally, Genet (Anne Charrier)’s movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.
The show stars Reedus, McBride and Charrier, with Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Charrier, Romain Levi and Eriq Ebouaney.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol begins in the US on 29th September, so we expect it will land here the same day, or on the 30th. We’ll keep you posted.
