We may finally have a clue as to why it’s taken Channel 4 so long to bring back family drama This is Us for its second season – it’s moving to More4.
The season is long over in the US, which has led many to question why UK audiences are still waiting to find out what’s next for Jack, Rebecca and their clan. The move indicates that ratings are the reason, with interest over here just not measuring up to that in the US.
Season two will premiere on Wednesday July 4, while season three returns to NBC in the US on September 25. No word on whether More4 will air episodes straight through, or there’ll be a similar delay between seasons two and three.
Moral of the story: tune in, folks, or we might never see these stories resolve.
