Three former Doctor Who actors appear in Cardiff area as centenary special wraps

In a hotel in Penarth Wales on October 12, not far from Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff where Doctor Who is filmed, three former Doctor actors gathered for a meal.

Sylvester McCoy (seventh Doctor), Colin Baker (sixth Doctor) and David Bradley (third actor to portray the first Doctor) were photographed seated at a table at the Holm House Hotel in Penarth.

A photo of the gathering was posted on the the Facebook page of the hotel. The post has since been deleted.

The post read, “DOCTOR WHO// “We are all stories in the end. Just make it a good one…” 👨⚕️
Did somebody call a Doctor?! Last night we had the pleasure of hosting three Doctor Who legends and what fine gentleman they were…

It is unknown why the three actors were in the general vicinity of where the Doctor Who BBC centenary special was finishing up on filming but the following might be a clue:

Since the three actors were so close to Roath Lock Studios, it’s possible they were interviewed alongside Jodie Whittaker (thirteenth Doctor) while in the area. The three former Doctor actors were undoubtedly participating in something meant to celebrate the BBC’s centenary, 100 years for the broadcaster of Doctor Who.

The Doctor Who BBC Centenary special will air in Autumn 2022. It will be the last for Jodie Whittaker’s thirteenth Doctor.
