BBC America has released a set of new teaser trailers for The X-Files writer Glen Morgan’s upcoming US conspiracy thriller series, Intruders.

Set in the Pacific Northwest and based on Michael Marshall Smith’s novel, The Intruders, the series stars John Simm (Doctor Who, Mad Dogs) as Jack Whelan, a Los Angeles cop turned writer who has escaped a dark, violent past for a seemingly quiet life with his wife, Amy. When Amy goes missing, Jack is plunged into an investigation that forces him to confront the sins of his past and reexamine the very foundations he’s built his life upon.

Executive produced by former Doctor Who exec Julie Gardner, Intruders begins in the US on BBC America this summer. The series is expected to air in the UK on BBC Three later this year.
