Netflix has released a brand new trailer for Marvel’s Jessica Jones.

Starring Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones alongside David Tennant as Kilgrave (aka Purple Man), Netflix’s upcoming original series will premiere in all territories where Netflix is available at 8:01am GMT on Friday 20 November.

The cast also includes Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, alongside Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones is the second of four live action adventure series, following Marvel’s Daredevil, which launched in April.

The official synopsis for the show reads: “After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.”

The thirteen one-hour episodes of Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be followed by Marvel’s Luke Cage and Marvel’s Iron Fist, leading up to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel’s The Defenders.
