The BBC’s comedy commissioner, Shane Allen and actor Arabella Weir confirmed yesterday that BBC Two sitcom, Two Doors Down is set to return for a fourth series.
Weir confirmed the news on Twitter while Allen announced that the sitcom will return in response to a Radio Times reader’s letter – he also announced that other BBC Two sitcom Quacks will not be coming back.
Filming is set to commence shortly in Glasgow with director Sasha Ransome once again returning to helm it. Joining Arabella Weir will be regular cast members Elaine C. Smith, Doon Mackichan, Jamie Quinn, Kieran Hodgson, Jonathan Watson, and Alex Norton.
Two Doors Down will return for its fourth series in early 2019 – and with series three airing in January earlier this year, we’d imagine it’ll return in a similar timeframe.
