The sci-fi comedy concludes with a “four-part series finale event” in August. 

Prime Video have confirmed that Upload will be back for its finale on Monday, August 25th 2025.

The show, from Greg Daniels (Parks and Recreation), take a satirical look not-so-far into our future where self-driving cars, holographic phones and 3D printed foods are commonplace. It’s also where you can be uploaded into a cozy digital afterlife – if you can afford it.

Across three seasons, we’ve followed Nathan (Robbie Amell), who died and was uploaded to the upscale Lakeview by his girlfriend. However, coping with his new virtual afterlife was just the start of his problems. Nathan soon began to uncover a murderous conspiracy, as well as fall in love with his human assistant “angel” Nora (Andy Allo).

In the four-part series finale event, sentient AI rapidly turns evil, threatening to wipe out Lakeview (and the world!). On top of greedy executives, lingering mysteries, plus heartbreak in VR and IRL, our characters are tested like never before. The only way they can get through it all and save humanity from deletion is by teaming up one last time.

Alongside Robbie Amell and Andy Allo, Upload stars Kevin Bigley as Luke, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy.
