Netflix’s Geeked Week have given us a look at Wednesday Season 2 in production.
While the show doesn’t return until 2025, Wednesday‘s streaming home has delivered a first look.
Provided as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, the behind-the-scenes promo lifts the curtain on the series which is currently filming in Ireland.
As well as star Jenna Ortega, cast members Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), and Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams) all appear in the clip. So does, director and executive producer Tim Burton.
However, it’s big on the tease and rather slight on substance…
Catherine Zeta-Jones tells us: “This season is going to be bigger and more twisted than you can ever imagine.”
While we don’t know precisely when in 2025 the series will return, but thanks to Tudum, we do know the title of the first episode. It’s called ‘Here We Woe Again’ and is written by showrunners Al Gough and Mark Millar, and directed by Tim Burton.
The guest cast for season 2 includes Steve Buscemi, Thandiwe Newton, Billie Piper and Joanna Lumley as Grandmama.
Also, Fred Armisen reprises his Uncle Fester, while the legendary Christopher Lloyd, who played Fester in the two 90s Addams Family movies, appears in an unspecified role.
We’ll keep you posted on Wednesday Season 2.
