What if...? is coming to Disney this August

Marvel’s animated What if…? comes to Disney+ this August, and there’s a first-look trailer available now

Marvel’s byline to their press release for What if…? tells us little (apart from the use of caps in the title being inconsistent!):

“Space. Time. Reality. It’s more than a linear path.” WHAT IF…?, an Original Series from Marvel Studios, is coming Summer 2021 to #DisneyPlus

There’s a little more in the way of a logline:

…flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. Directed by Bryan Andrews with AC Bradley as head writer

The press release also tells us the series launches exclusively on Disney+ on August 11, 2021. This is a Wednesday release, following the impact Loki had with a midweek release.
