The ever reliable Aussie podcast tackled Season 7‘s underrated ‘The Ambassadors of Death’ for its main feature this month. They gave the 7-parter a good analysis – it was their moral duty.
The chaps have also been industriously providing weekly hot takes on season 2, in addition to their Don’t Read the Comments and The List Makers mini-pods.
Scarred for Life – Sophie Aldred
Sophie Aldred, best known as the Seventh Doctor’s companion Ace, joined Andy Bush and Dave Lawrence to discuss three terrors from her childhood. She also talks about her career, including landing the role of Ace in the 80s, and talking the call to return from Chris Chibnall for ‘The Power of the Doctor’.
Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware – Jonathan Groff
Star of stage and screen Jonathan Groff appeared on Table Manners, and the conversation ranged from growing up on a Pennsylvania farm, Frozen, working as a waiter in NYC and his deep love for Beyoncé.
The Louis Theroux Podcast – Bella Ramsey
Louis meets with The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey for an in-depth conversation which covers fungal zombies, steelmanning gender critical views and coping with fandoms.
Along the way, there’s room for talk of Game of Thrones, playing a pregnant heroin addict in Time series 2, and their phobia of vomiting.
How to Fail – John Bishop
With a 25-year career of stand-up behind him, it’s surprising to learn that comedy wasn’t always John Bishop’s dream. With host Elizabeth Day, he explores some of the turning points in his life and how comedy literally saved his marriage.
Doctor Who Corner to Corner – Susan Twist
Paul and Geoff of Who C2C host Susan Twist, the actress who popped up throughout season one, before being revealed as Susan Triad in the series finale.
She talks about working with Ncuti Gatwa and Mille Gibson, as well as prosthetics, meeting fans and narrating audiobooks. There’s also a discussion of her wider career, the actor’s life and much more.

This month Simon Brew tackled the tales behind Jurassic Park, Booksmart, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Lethal Weapon 2. Also, he explored Pixar’s abandoned Newt.
