James Nesbitt, Robert Bathurst, Hermione Norris, John Thomson, and Fay Ripley are back for a brand new season of ITV’s comedy drama Cold Feet.
It’s been over ten years since we last caught up with the lives of Adam, Pete, Jenny, Karen and David and although many things have changed, deep down they haven’t. Older, but not necessarily wiser, the gang are reunited when Adam returns from working abroad to make an announcement but not everyone is as thrilled as he is.
As Season 6 develops we follow the highs and lows of these much loved characters as they, like us, continue to find their way in life.

Episode 1
Monday 5 September 2016, 9pm
The gang are reunited when Adam (James Nesbitt) returns to Manchester after years of working abroad.
Whilst Adam travelled the world on business, his 15 year-old-son, Matthew (Ceallach Spellman) chose boarding school and, under the guardianship of Godmother, Karen (Hermione Norris), has turned into a well-adjusted young man, or so it seems.
It breaks Karen’s (Hermione Norris) heart to see what Rachel is missing out on, and unlike Adam, she’s not fooled by Matt’s bravado. What this kid needs more than anything right now is his Dad.
Pete (John Thomson) and Jenny (Fay Ripley) are down on their uppers. With two teenagers to support, Pete’s juggling two jobs; cabbie and home-help, and Jenny’s work in Events Management at a grand hotel is hardly bringing home the bacon. Fast approaching 50, mortgaged up to the eyeballs, Pete is understandably miserable but is pleased to see his best again.
Episode 2
Monday 12 September 2016, 9pm
As Pete (John Thomson) chauffeurs the ‘happy’ couple away from the wedding venue Adam (James Nesbitt) reveals that he’s changed his mind about starting a future together in Singapore. His son Matthew (Cel Spellman) needs him in Manchester.
The Giffords money worries have taken a toll on their marriage and in particular, their sex life. In an attempt to lift Pete’s (John Thomson) spirits, Jen (Fay Ripley) reminds him of the bedroom fantasies they used to act out when they were younger, but it’s going to take more than a French maid’s costume to snap Pete out of this one. Jenny knows that she’s turned the head of a client at work and can’t fail to be flattered. Trevor (Nicholas Gleaves) is persistent but Jenny would never cheat on her beloved Pete, would she?
Under pressure from his boss, David (Robert Bathurst) continues to try and impress Adam’s father-in-law, millionaire businessman, Eddie Zubayr (Art Malik), even enlisting the help of ex-wife Karen (Hermione Norris), whom Eddie clearly has designs on.
When David invites Eddie along to the corporate box at Old Trafford his CEO gets wind of the fact and invites himself along forcing David to let his old friends down. As the dads and lads watch on the match on the pub’s big screen, Adam notices that even the win isn’t putting a smile on Pete’s face. Could there be more to his mood than simply being miserable and middle-aged?
Episode 3
Monday 19 September 2016, 9pm
When David (Robert Bathurst) and Robyn (Lucy Robinson) are woken in the early hours by the police David assumes the worst; has something has happened to one of the kids?
A trip to the Doctors confirms Adam’s (James Nesbitt) suspicions about Pete (John Thomson). Adam and David set about cheering Pete up with an adrenaline fuelled bike ride. Pete appreciates his friends’ efforts, but shaking off the black dog just isn’t that simple.
A visit to see care patient Harry (James Bolam) adds to Pete’s woes when Harry makes a morose request. In a bid to escape the pressures at home Jenny’s (Fay Ripley) moment of madness at work comes back to haunt her.
Episode 4
Monday 26 September 2016, 9pm
Trying to prove his innocence, David (Robert Bathurst) realises that he may have his work cut out when his own wife, divorce Lawyer Robyn (Lucy Robinson) turns against him. Pete receives another blow when he arrives at work to see Harry.
Already juggling a job, two kids and a depressed husband Jen’s (Fay Ripley) facade finally slips when she is pulled to task by her sister, Shelia, over the care of their elderly mother. Is this the straw that breaks Jenny’s back?
Just as Karen (Hermione Norris) takes her relationship with Eddie (Art Malik) up a notch, a visit from a desperate David threatens to put the kibosh on it.
Adam has relationship worries of a different kind when his wife becomes increasingly distant, almost incommunicado in fact. Pete notes that breakfast in bed is always a winner with Jen but that might not be so easy when the recipient is over six thousand miles away. So there he has it, a romantic breakfast over Skype. What could possibly go wrong?
Episode 5
Monday 3 October 2016, 9pm
Jenny is shocked when an old flame turns up at work.
Reformed alcoholic, Grant is on the pathway to atonement and wants to right the wrongs of the past. But his arrival opens a can of worms with irreversible consequences.
Episode 6
Monday 10 October 2016, 9pm
Convinced they’ve seen the back of Grant (Robert Webb), Jenny (Fay Ripley) raises the subject of Harry’s will again but Pete (John Thomson) has no fight left in him. When Chloe announces that she no longer wants to call him Dad, it’s like a knife to his heart. Pete’s unsure as to what matters anymore.
Fancying herself as a bit of a property guru, Tina (Leanne Best) channels her inner Kirsty Allsop in the hope of finding Adam (James Nesbitt) his dream home. After a series of viewings, Tina cuts through the estate agent’s flannel and views a house that is already under offer. Using her charm Adam’s offer is accepted. But is Tina really that keen to see Adam move out?
New to the freelance world, Karen (Hermione Norris) is intrigued when a potential backer approaches her. The meeting with handsome young media entrepreneur, Justin (Tom Bateman) goes better than expected as he agrees to invest with Karen as the major shareholder and Karen’s plan to go it alone pays off in more ways than one.
Episode 7
Monday 17 October 2016, 9pm
Adam (James Nesbitt) is beginning to have feelings for Tina (Leanne Best) and suspects that she may feel the same.
Pete (John Thomson) and Jenny (Fay Ripley) finally agree a compromise with Harry’s daughter. Still concerned about Pete’s mental wellbeing, Jenny persuades him to attend a mindfulness class, but for a middle-aged mother of two emptying your mind isn’t easy. Pete, on the other hand, embraces it.
When Karen (Hermione Norris) discovers that, thanks to his case and Robyn’s divorce proceedings, David’s (Robert Bathurst) finances have hit rock bottom, she notes that he could dip into the girls’ trust fund, little does she know that he has already done so. Karen has no choice but to send him packing and once again, David has no place to call home.
Episode 8
Monday 24 October 2016, 9pm
The sixth season draws to an end as Tina (Leanne Best) organises an eventful surprise party for Adam (James Nesbitt), with a few of his friends and lots of hers.
When Pete (John Thomson) and Adam nip out on a booze run they find themselves staring death in the face. Pete’s not sure even Adam can talk his way out of this one.
