Phil Ford has been announced as the writer of the second episode of Doctor Who‘s new series.
Peter Capaldi completed his first full day of Doctor Who filming today as production began on the new series.
The first photos of filming on the series of Doctor Who have appeared online this morning, confirming the return of Neve McIntosh as Madame Vastra, Catrin Stewart as Jenny and Dan Starkey as Strax.
Steven Moffat said recently: “If Russell [T Davies] had stayed on, [Doctor Who] would still have changed. And actually, it is time again to do that… So now we’ve got to actually get a bit raw at it and do it in a different direction.”
