Doctor Who star Karen Gillan has revealed that it would be “really interesting” to work with Arthur Darvill and Matt Smith on a new project.
August brings the ‘Destiny of the Doctor’ series to the Eighth Doctor. While there have been various companions to draw on for other eras of the show, choices are rather limited here with Paul McGann’s single television outing. Luckily the job can fall to one of his audio companions.
After Doctor Who left TV screens in 1989, many possible routes were investigated for the show’s return. BBC Two’s upcoming Doctor Who drama, An Adventure in Space and Time, will be shown in London this autumn as part of the BFI’s year-long 50th anniversary celebrations.
This afternoon we attended the BFI’s Doctor Who screening of 2005’s two-part Series 1 finale, starring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose.
