Exclusive: Edgar Wright on ‘Spaced’ 15th anniversary

The World’s End director Edgar Wright has told CultBox that next year’s 15th anniversary of Spaced is “scary”.

Starring Simon Pegg, Jessica Stevenson and Nick Frost, Spaced launched on Channel 4 in 1999 and ran for two series, both directed by Edgar Wright.

Speaking to CultBox to promote the release of The World’s End on DVD and Blu-ray, Wright commented on the anniversary: “I know, it’s scary, isn’t it? I don’t know about any plans, no. Maybe they’ll do another marathon of it or something. I won’t be in the UK much next year, but maybe they will do something. That’s up to them. I don’t get to programme these things sadly.”
