In the penultimate instalment of BBC Two’s thriller series, personal tragedy interferes with DI Gabriel’s seemingly hopeless attempts to unravel the web of corruption and cover-ups that surround the murder of Harvey Wratten. Meanwhile, Customs Officer Beatty tries to persuade his boss to take an interest in Joseph Bede’s impending drug deal, while the florist himself tries to make amends for his behaviour with Petra Mayler.
