There was even a 1928 musical with lyrics by P. G. Wodehouse!

‘Quirke’ preview

Coming to BBC One in 2014 is a new three-part series of feature-length episodes based on the books from Benjamin Black (also known as author John Banville) featuring Irish pathologist, Quirke (played by Golden Globe winner, Gabriel Byrne).

‘An Adventure in Space and Time’ preview

‘Doctor Who’ missing episodes press conference report

The BBC have been the victim of quite a few leaks when it has come to Doctor Who news stories this year, and, in the event, the embargo wasn’t kept.

The revelation, when it came, was exactly as internet insiders had told us it would be: the rediscovered Doctor Who stories are ‘The Enemy of the World’ (all parts) and ‘The Web of Fear’: all parts, save for the still-missing Episode 3.
