The Doctor is no exception, sporting a fashionable example from the famed ‘5:02 pm in a Collapsing Universe’ Collection of the Spring 2011 eyewear line by the reputed Kovarian & Co.

Vogue called it ‘an indispensable modern update on Lethbridge-Stewart’s classic 1970s ‘Inferno’ range’. Well they didn’t. But they should.

They’re just a pair of those simple cardboard anaglyph stereoscopic specs that they used for 3D movies in the Fifties and which you occasionally see sellotaped to comics.

But did you also know they can let you see ‘Void stuff’? Yes they can. Why, I saw some just the other day when doing some heavy dusting. WARNING: prolonged wearing while looking for ‘Void stuff’ can lead to headaches.
