Aldis Hodge takes on the role of James Patterson’s Alex Cross.
Prime Video have revealed a first look at the upcoming Cross season 1.
The show, based upon the characters from James Patterson’s best-selling book series, is described as “… a complex, twisted, pulse-pounding thriller.”
It comes from showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins (Burn Notice), with Aldis Hodge (Leverage: Redemption) taking on the lead role.
Here’s the synopsis for Cross Season 1:
Alex Cross is brilliant, flawed, and full of contradictions. A doting father and family man, Cross is single-minded to the point of obsession when he hunts killers. He is desperate for love, but his wife’s murder has left him too damaged to receive it.
The show also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford and Ryan Eggold.
Prime Video have already confirmed a second season with Matthew Lillard, Wes Chatham and Jeanine Mason all joining the cast.
Cross Season 1 arrives on Thursday, 14th November 2024, with the streamer dropping all eight episodes.
